What goes around comes around for Saddam

I finally believe that God does punish tyrants... beware!! the rest of you scoundrels, out there to destroy this world I live in. your time shall come.. am ebbing with gratitude , new year's time and Saddam hanged.. I hope it is not some fake rumor spreading itself... I cannot imagine a world with Saddam now... it has been almost 12 hours since the first scum of the millenium has been exterminated.. wow.. my world looks a lot cleaner now...

saying 2006 goodbye

last two days of 2006, I shall sleep late, wakeup late, eat more junk, excersise less, sing less, read less, watch more and more TV, orkut endlessly, cry more, think more negative, laugh less , sympathise with myself more, be more lazy, alter plans every minute, be undisciplined, fight with my parents, say no to everything, be self-opiniated on everything, listen less, talk more, judge people, wont help my mom in the kitchen, order her to get me food at my table, wont call my sister often, wont take care of my finances, spend like crazy , think am the best in the world, be egoistic blah blah blah... because.... come 2007, I resolve not to do any of the above... or lemme atleast try to be a nice girl in 2007.. so 2006 here you go... take away with u all my bad habits .., help me be a nice girl to my parents... I can no longer see the pain in their eyes and their heart.. yearning for a shade of solace and happiness for their little angel...

Ten commandments of friendship

I wish my friends dont read this blog.. I wish THEY ,MY FRIENDS read this :) The most overyly hyped concept in this universe is 'friendship' , aint it ironical ?

1.When someone says 'I shall be your friend forever', dont buy it :) they mean 'dont get too close ok ? ' Usually these are the self-obsessed people ,to whom being dead or alive is the same thing,am being unkind, but what the heck , am in mood...

2.When someone says 'Love is the wild-rose briar ,friendship is like the holly tree' flicking a quote or two from Emily Bronte, they could never nurture a rose or a holly all their life..

3. When someone says 'When you have so many nice friends, what more do you need ? ' forgive them O' Lord for they know not what they are saying !!

4. When someone states 'A friend in need is a friend indeed', it means 'you must move on with life and when you throw a party , count me in ok ? '

5. When someone says 'I shall always be there for you', he is a goddamn liar, nothing more nothing less..

6. When someone says 'Friendship is more important than love', ask what important work they were doing when you were alone that night and crying , to be listened to.

7. When someone says 'Love of friends', be sure he can neither give love nor friendship.

8. When someone rarely speaks, beware!! he is not listening at all, not now, not ever.. back off..

9. When someone has no opinion on you, he just doesnt care, wouldnt care a dime if the world went without you the next moment, not a tear shed, not a remembrance.

10. Follow 1-9 seriously to avoid unnecessary relationships in life.

When someone thinks you are the 'Phoneix', trust him, he is your only true friend!!

of one's own language

Poetry in your own language is the most beautiful poetry of all. There is something magical about your own language for each person. Primarily language being the most successful mode of communication, it is obvious that whatever said in your language means the most to you.

Talking of kannada, it is refreshing to speak kannada, to listen to kannada songs, to read kannada and the like. Listening to old kannada movie songs is becoming an obsessive habit with me these days. This is music I have grown up with and it brings back memories of childhood. Not only that, it makes me wonder about the beauty of my language. It feels special. Sadly, I find many localites not knowing kannada and not appreciating it and it hurts.

Associating myself with this beautiful language has a special meaning in my life at the present also. I'm going through a phase wherein changes happening to my thinking, my opinions etc. I'm glad to let go of those stuck-up opinions that I must have picked up during growing up , am glad that I respect people's emotions and am glad for restoration of faith in the fact that 'He up above is the only one who can do something' if anyone can. I'm glad to start praying again. Amidst all these changes, I can say I feel at home when I think of my language. It is a weird way of saying things but I dont expect anyone to understand what am saying anyways..
